Originating from a humble dialogue between the Indian Heart Rhythm Society (IHRS) and the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS), GIEF has blossomed into a global initiative, bridging borders to tackle educational, research, and advocacy needs. Despite strides in access to cardiovascular care, the per-capita ratio of Heart Rhythm Specialists remains one of the lowest in the Indian Subcontinent, hindering the field's growth.
